5 REASONS WHY I LOVE BATMAN

When I started watching superhero movies (all thanks to Sam Raimi's Spiderman Trilogy) Superman was my favorite superhero. He got super-strength, heat vision, super speed and the list goes on. During that time when I came to know about Batman, I thought he might be having powers related to bat or something like that, but to my disappointment, I discovered that he hasn't got such superpowers and to my utter shock don't even have a superpower (except obviously he is rich).

I was like, what kind of superhero is he and why do they even call him a superhero. So I just stop taking him seriously. Then one day while scrolling down videos on Youtube, I came across his origin story and as I saw it, my mind just got blown away. Then I started searching more about him. And with due course of time, he became my favorite superhero. So here I am with five reasons why I love Batman:

1. His Symbol:

The bat symbol on Batman's chest is unique. As it does not depicts his strength (which is generally depicted by symbols of other superheroes) but depicts his childhood fears. How?

Once when Batman aka Bruce Wayne was young, he accidentally falls into a cave full of bats, which made his shiver down to his spine out of fear and thus developed in him, fear for bats. But after the tragic murder of his parents, he visited the same cave remained there surrounded by bats till his fear vanished. So the symbol describes his weakness which, he conquered to become extraordinary.

2. Batman never give up:

One of the greatest strengths of Batman is his spirit of never giving up. Even if you injure him near to death, even if you take away everything from him and lock him up at a place from where no one could ever escape. (which Bane did in the movie 'The Dark Knight Rises'). He will come back by becoming even stronger than before.

3. Batman always got a backup plan:

Batman's farsightedness is just out of this world. He always knows what could possibly go wrong while executing a particular task and thus have a backup plan ready at the beginning itself. In one instance from DC comics it was found that Batman got contingency plans to defeat each member of the Justice League, just in case they turn evil. Including himself!

4. Batman biggest strength is his values:

Batman got a very strong value system which, he follows at all costs. It is because of this value system that he just can't be deceived from his path or corrupted by anyone. He has a clear understanding of right and wrong, justice, and injustice. He believes in the system. That's why he doesn't kill anyone but hand them over to the police. In the movie 'The Dark Knight' Batman sacrifices his own superhero image just to ensure that people's belief in justice and truth remain alive.

5. He is a Normal Human Being:

Batman is not an alien from another planet, not a superhuman or something but a normal human being in a bat costume, still, he had saved Gotham city and even the whole world many times by defeating some of the strongest and deadliest villains of all time. This clearly shows that you don't need superpowers to do great things, all it takes is courage, belief in oneself, and determination to fight injustice.
